This policy explains what SNKRDAY (snkrday.com) collects when you visit, why, and what you can do about it.
Who is responsible
I (Dannci) am the data controller for this site. Write to the address above with any question about your data.
The short version
I do not sell your data and I do not run advertising networks. This site loads Google Analytics, Google Fonts, and images hosted by third-party marketplaces, and each of those receives your IP address. Outbound shopping links carry affiliate tracking. Details below.
Server logs
My hosting provider records standard web server logs for every request: IP address, date and time, requested URL, HTTP status code, referring page, browser user agent, and amount of data transferred.
These logs keep the site running and let me investigate abuse, errors, and attacks. Legal basis: legitimate interest, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f). Logs are kept for [NUMBER] days and then deleted.
Hosting provider: Dreamhost, USA. They process this data as my processor under a data processing agreement.
Google Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4, operated by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), to measure how many people visit and which pages they read.
Google Analytics sets cookies and collects your truncated IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and browser details, referrer, pages viewed, and interactions on those pages. Google may transfer this data to servers in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which serves as the transfer mechanism.
Analytics only loads after you accept analytics cookies in the consent banner. Legal basis: your consent, GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and the ePrivacy rules on cookies. Withdraw it at any time through.
Data retention in Google Analytics is set to [2 / 14] months.

Fonts
This site loads web fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). When your browser requests a font file, your IP address, user agent, and the referring page go to Google. Google states it does not use these requests for advertising profiles, but the connection itself transfers personal data. Legal basis: legitimate interest in consistent typography, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f). If you would rather avoid it, self-hosted fonts are on my list of changes.
Product images
Sneaker images are not stored on my server in every case. Some load through a redirect that sends your browser to a marketplace CDN, such as StockX. Your browser then contacts that CDN directly, and the CDN sees your IP address and user agent as part of that request. I send those requests without a referrer header, so the CDN does not learn which page you were looking at.
Affiliate links and click tracking
Links to StockX and other retail partners are affiliate links. Clicking one takes you to the partner’s site, and the URL may carry campaign parameters or a click identifier so the partner can attribute a purchase back to SNKRDAY.
Once you land on the partner’s site, that company sets its own cookies and applies its own privacy policy. I receive aggregate reporting from affiliate networks: click counts, conversions, and commission amounts. I do not receive your name, address, payment details, or order contents.
Current partners: StockX (directly and through Impact Radius).
Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating the site commercially, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f). Where a partner’s tracking relies on cookies set on your device by this site, it runs only after you consent.

We do not use advertising, tracking, or profiling cookies. You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of your account and download access.
Contact by email
If you email me, I keep your message and address for as long as needed to deal with the matter, and then delete it. Legal basis: legitimate interest in answering enquiries, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f), or contract where relevant.
What this site does not do
- No selling or renting of personal data
- No user accounts, so no passwords or profiles
- No automated decision-making or profiling with legal effects
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask me to:
- confirm what data I hold about you and give you a copy (Art. 15)
- correct inaccurate data (Art. 16)
- delete your data (Art. 17)
- restrict processing (Art. 18)
- hand over data in a portable format (Art. 20)
- stop processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21)
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out (Art. 7(3))

Children
This site is not aimed at children under 16 and I do not knowingly collect their data.
Links to other sites
Once you follow a link to StockX, GOAT, a brand site, or anywhere else, that operator’s privacy policy applies. I have no control over what they collect.
Changes to this policy
I update this page when the site changes. The date at the top shows the current version. Significant changes affecting how I handle your data will be flagged on the site.
